Partner for Weissmies (4010 m, PD) SE-ridge tour Thu 25. - Fri 26.6.

Hi guys,

anybody interested in joining me for a, what I hope to be a Plaisir tour, from Almagellerhütte to Weissmies summit and back? The plan is to go up to the hut on Thursday June 25th late afternoon and summit as well as slog down to the Saas-Allmagel on the 26th.

I have experience from Alpine and MSL and simul-climbing and my conditioning is good (enough). I've also basic glacier and crevasse rescue skills, but those would not be put to test during this tour due to route selection. I am originally from the Nordics so snow, ice and cold are familiar elements to me. So should not be any problems there.

I was planning to go solo, but then again this would be my first 4000er so I'd rather give it a try with a partner, just in case.

I have the car and gear. You should have some experience from 3000+ m mountains and be in shape to get to the summit and back safely.
