(date updated) Anyone interested in learning some glacier travel and trad climbing techniques from a bergführer? I am trying to coordinate a small group, about 3 people, to go on a short tour that allows for time to practice and discuss the skills needed to make the tour, with the goal being to learn how to make such tours on your own. The focus will be on simple glacier travel and simple trad climbing techniques like rock/snow/ice anchor building, short roping, crevasse rescue, etc.

I have found a bergführer interested in guiding this. I have toured with him before, he's a good guy, lots of fun to tour with and really solid.

Cost: depends on number of people.
Dates: trying for july 18-20
Location: depends on weather but possibilities are blumlisalp and furka/susten area.
